Pretoria: The IPL Closing Ceremony was spectacular in more than one way. Eddy Grant left no hope for Susana (or anyone else!) after his never-ending rendition of the popular hit. The Miss Bollywood IPL Finalists made sure they did everything to make sure they were not ‘miss’ed. Of course the line up included many such ‘spectacles’! However, the ceremony, if we can call it that, most affected South African pop star Akon. After his encounter with the certain Miss Katrina Kaif he claims to be lonely no more.

Although the act was completely unplanned Akon didn’t seem to have any cold feet about it. He made sure he smacked that…umm… the audiences with his enthralling performance!

Jai Ho also to the 24 year old Katrina who seemed totally charmed when the two were seen belly dancing in a shanty club in Johanessburg. Mush before this two, a whole lot of people on the stadium and in front of the television screens saw them swaying a little too much together. And though they are not available for comments, it is to be taken as sure news. Because it was on the stage!

Predicted reactions from Katrina’s boyfriend Salman Khan put the entire country into shivers. Narendra Modi was heard regretting his decision to shift the IPL and let it lead to such dire consequences. Fortunately, Salman shocked everyone by inviting the two to participate in the second season of his game show Dus Ka Dum! Considering the list of famous people already dying to be on that show, it is not surprising that he should take such measures to make his show more colourful (rather, black and white considering his invitees!).
