Beyonce Knowles emerged as a ‘Queen’ in the recently-concluded 52nd Annual Grammy Awards – considered the ‘Mother of all Music Awards’. Mrs. Jay Z beat her own record of five Grammy’s when she won six at today’s Staples Centre Award Show.
Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Taylor Swift, who were leading the nominations in their respective categories, did not disappoint.

However, it was Kings of Leon that pulled off the most surprises. The Followill brothers took home some coveted rock honours, beating experienced bands like Coldplay, U2 and Green Day in the process.
