Yes, yes, we do have college magazines. And, there are quite a handful of them. Let’s start with Miranda. I know by now you may be convinced that we are totally obsessed with our Shakespearean connection. So, Miranda is the official college magazine. The pages are full of poems, stories and stuff like that. And the credit goes to the super active English department which is full of enthusiasm and activities all throughout the year.
Miranda House hostel has its own annual magazine, called Parnassus. Now, for those of you who don’t know Greek, Parnassus means the highest seat of learning, art and literature and the residence of the muses. Parnassus is much different from Miranda because of the amount of fun stuff it carries in its pages. Its more informal in it’s approach and it exudes the energy, fun and excitement that underlies the hostel life. It’s pretty popular among the hostellers.
