Fashion model, Brooklyn Decker – wife of US tennis star Andy Roddick - has bagged herself a coveted place on the cover of the ‘2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition‘.

The 22-year-old siren, who married the American tennis ace in April last year, can be seen smiling, sporting a bright yellow bikini in what can be termed as a comfortable, relaxed pose. It was shot in the picturesque Maldives. See a shot of the cover and her reaction to the news here.
This is contrast to the reputation of previous ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit‘ issues, which were famous for their sultry, voluptuous models oozing sex appeal.
Decker, who has also modeled for Victoria’s Secret in the past, has appeared three consecutive times in the ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition‘ in 2006, 2007 and 2008. However, this is the first time she will grace the cover of the reputed magazine that’s credited for popularizing the - now famous - bikini.
Apart from some exotic photoshoots and attending the odd-tennis match to support her man, this American bombshell has also made guest appearances on American sitcoms ‘Ugly Betty‘ and ‘Royal Pains‘.
Previous ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition‘ models included the likes of supermodels Bar Rafaeli, Marisa Miller, singer/actress Beyonce Knowles and internationally-acclaimed supermodels Heidi Klum, Tara Banks and Rachel Hunter.
The issue hits stands soon and, going by the looks of things, it will undoubtedly propel Brooklyn Decker into the league of recognized faces from the international modeling world.
Hopefully this doesn’t distract hubby Andy Roddick from his tennis, although I wouldn’t blame him if it did!
