Nimbuzz today released the latest version of their award winning chat software worldwide in France. The update is currently exclusive to users of the Symbian operating system. Here’s a low down on what’s new and what’s hot on it.

The app is now transformed into a all in one for symbian phones. The list of chat clients it supports is impressive. Everything from Gtalk to MSN, AIM to Yahoo and even most importantly Facebook Chat is all inbuilt. And to add to this health mix is the twitter functionality inbuilt but more on that later.

The new update includes pop up intimations. Up until now one had to return to the chat application to check for updates on the conversations. Nimbuzz has revolutionized that, now one can see updates right on the home screen. So all you got to do is pick up the phone and you will see what people have been messaging you right on the home screen. Complete brilliance.

Chat histories are saved, so one does not have to wonder what was last spoken about or worry about the chat getting disrupted due to network issues.

The twitter application again is one of the best among the free apps. While nothing beat Gravity at pure twitter orgasm. The nimbuzz twitter app is brilliant for the price of nothing. It offers all the features of twitter on the web. Everything from Timelines, Tweet, DM, Searches, Trends, Profiles and much more!! Some of the features like time between which the auto update feature kicks in are not currently available neither is Jabber functionality back. But Hey nothing beats a free chat app with so much brilliance.
