Washington: The first Guantanamo Bay detainee to be transferred to US arrived in New York early on Tuesday. “Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian national who had been held at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility since September 2006, arrived early this morning.
In a weird turn of events, the alleged al-Quaida operative Ghailani got his hands on a pirated DVD of New York. In a weirder turn of events, he was caught trying to escape back to the Guantanamo Detention Centre.
The latest Yashraj ‘mis’production touched him in such an unimaginable way that he refuses to touch-down in New York! The oh-so-sensitive script based on the detention tragedy has led Ghailani to run back into his prison place under an unusual attack of terror. Experts claim this to be the result of huge emotional over-bearing trauma and psychological mis-balance.
On talking to a depressed Ghailani it was discovered that he regrets this decision, even more than his 286 counts of murder, conspiracy to murder, bomb and maim, and conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction against US nationals and other charges for which he could receive the death penalty.
President Barack Obama is taking steps to save these convicts on the American soil and has banned the release of this film in the country and anywhere remotely close. Banned also are the DVDs, CDs, merchandise, cast, crew and any other piece of technology or flesh connected to the movie. The US president hopes that other countries will take some action to save the mental well-being of the detainees. Foreign Relations experts predict that this could severely strain all strategic and non-strategic relations between India and America.
India’s fears are not curtailed to just that. Indian Army Intelligence reports state that India could be the next sure-shot target for the next terror attack. In fact, prevention and safety preparations have already begun. The first among them being shifting of the Yashraj Studios to Timbuktu, for good!
