Music: Pritam Chakraborty
Lyrics: Irshad Kamil
Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone

The expectations are already on a high for this movie, will it be a good follow-up to the already cult movie Jab We Met? That’s what’s on everyone’s mind awaiting this movie…! And guess what…the soundtrack is dhamaal and it just makes the wait for the movie much more difficult…!

The album is a cracker from start to finish and it won’t be far when the album sales cross that of Jab We Met. Seems like the music director and lyricist were working in their top gear to get this album rolling. The album has seven original tracks and 3 remix versions of the popular tracks.

The album jump starts with “Twist” (Neeraj Shridhar), and it begins with a bang and everyone associated with this song is in top form. With the lyrics like “Choodo choodo sab rone dhone,Choodo choodo dukh aage hone,Dekho dekho dil sone mone,Yehi life ki jist” and superb musical arrangements makes this a full on party and masti song..!

Come 2nd track “Chor Bazari” (Neeraj Shridhar & Sunidhi Chauhan) and you are already saying WOW..! The song has a certain innocent feel and that Delhi’ish essence to it. Hats off to Pritam & Irshad Kamil.

“Aahun Aahun” (Master Saleem, Neeraj Shridhar, Suzie Q), is a true blue fusion piece in terms of arrangement and the Punjabi, English and Hindi lyrics come beautifully together for this song..!

“Yeh Dooriyan” is typical a Mohit Chauhan song…with him singing along with the guitar strings in the background. The song has a touch of melancholy to it. The song might get some more life if picturized on the lines of the tone this song sets the listener in..!

“Ajj Din Chadeya” (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan) is a lyrical masterpiece, beautifully set to music by Pritam. With lyrics like “Woh jo mujhko dekh ke hase, Pana chahun Raat din jise, Rabba mere naam kar use, Tenu Dil da Vasta”…makes you close yours eyes & keep listening to this song..!

“Thoda Thoda Pyar” (Sunidhi Chauhan) is an out an out Punjabi marriage song…the song goes easy on your ears and it might catch up once people see it on the big screen..!

“Main Kya Hoon” has KK crooning to this number and it’s a cool breezy song. It has a distinct Pritam touch to the composition..!

The Album is completely dhaasu from the first song to the last…and the tracks are bound to be chart toppers for a lot of coming weeks. The pick of the album being “Ajj Din Chadeya”, “Chor Bazari” and “Twist”.

Verdict: Drop all your work and visit your nearest store to buy this…Trust me you don’t even want to wait for a second to miss this soundtrack…!

Well this is a good composition by Pritam.. After all the hussle faced by him in his earlier New York, this time he has brought something good. I like the Choor Bazari wala song. Its kinda cool and quite eager to watch the movie also.
