Seesmic.com is an awesome application on the web. You don’t need to download any software to your pc; It has the same functionality that most applications like Twirhl or Tweetdeck offer without having to download any application on the pc, works on any OS including Linux or Mac OS X and is Free!

Seesmic offers users a comprehensive view of their twitter page, including a view of your timeline and mentions. It works somewhat similarly to Gmail and even offers a Gmail style view of the tweets. It’s brilliant. .

And has some amazing features such as automatically reducing HUGE links. Again a huge bonus unlike the twitter site where you need to get a link made on a different site, here the job is done by the site itself.

It’s surprising the seismic website is better than their very own application Twirhl which they purchased a while back.

With seesmic.com the whole style of using twitter changes, it makes browsing your twitter timeline way better than the twitter site itself. Here are a few pictures that show you why.
